Vending machine concession. CIÉ has capacity at its premises for the provision of an independent service providing cold soft drinks, confectionery and snacks by vending machine at selected locations throughout the Republic of Ireland. This proposed concession involves the awarding of a licence agreement for four years for the provision, installation, operation and full management of vending machines dispensing cold soft drinks, confectionery and snacks at selected sites across the CIÉ bus and rail network (Bus Atha Cliath - Dublin Bus, Bus Éireann – Irish Bus and Iarnród Éireann – Irish Rail). Approximately 150 vending machines are in place at present at selected locations throughout the Republic of Ireland.
