TG4

Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Commercial Airtime Sales & Sponsorship. TG4 is a National Public Service broadcaster in Ireland, primarily broadcasting in the Irish language. TG4 is a statutory entity whose duties and functions are set out in broadcasting legislation. TG4 invites tenders for a contract to provide commercial airtime sales and sponsorship services for the channel. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and administering all aspects of the business, which encompasses marketing, sales, delivery and financial control. The contract will be operated on a commission only basis. Performances will be measured on a month by month basis and will be reviewed quarterly against pre defined and agreed sales targets. Irish is the working language at TG4. The Airtime Sales and Sponsorship contract will be for a 3 year period with an option for TG4 to extend for a further 2 years. Applicants should have a proven track record in this area and will be expected to show that they have a detailed understanding of the television airtime sales and sponsorship business. They should also supply details of similar contracts won over the last 5 years together with a detailed organisational chart and details of structure and personnel who will be involved in the TG4 contract.
