Contact Centre Services. Tourism Ireland Limited is seeking a service provider capable of servicing and managing telephone calls and e-mails in relation to trade and consumer enquiries from Europe, United States, Canada and potentially Australasia, South America and South Africa, with the option of extending such services to new channels of customer interaction including (but not limited to) web-based and VoIP enquiries. The tender documents will require that the personnel proposed by tenderers for performing the services must have a sufficient level of experience in the provision of world class customer service and exhibit the ability and enthusiasm to reach a high level of knowledge in relation to tourism (including tourism facilities, activities and destinations) on the island of Ireland, within 2 - 3 months. The location of the contact centre must have regard to the need to facilitate urgent physical access for employees of Tourism Ireland, or its authorised agents or other stakeholders, and the cost of such access. It would also be expected that the service provider would fully participate in familiarisation trips, visiting each region within the island of Ireland.
