The Project comprises a new five storey over basement Family Law Complex on a c.0.45-hectare site at Hammond Lane, Dublin 7. The approximate gross internal area of the building is 18,250 sq. m, made up of a single level basement with a floor area of c. 4,175 sq. m, c. 13,210 sq. m above ground, and c. 865 sq. m of plant space at roof level. The Project is anticipated to include the design, build, finance, operation and maintenance services for an indicative 25-year services period, after which the buildings will be handed back to Courts Service. The Office of Public Works is providing technical advice including Architectural and Planning services to the Project. To support development and procurement of the Project, NDFA intends to procure external technical advisors in the following disciplines: Civil and Structural Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP), and Quantity Surveying. Other specialist technical advisors, including Fire and Acoustics may be procured separately as the Project develops.
