The works to be carried out involve the construction of a new booster pumphouse at Ballyconneely and a new reservoir at Burnhill. A rising watermain will be constructed from the booster pumphouse to the reservoir. From the reservoir, distribution mains will be laid to and throughout the town of Newmarket on Fergus with connections to a number of existing watermains. The contract further includes the construction of a distribution main from Hurlers Cross, Ballycasey to Bunratty.
