Bus Eireann/Irish Bus
Title attributed to the contract by the contracting entity: Anchorage design and installation of seatbelts in Buses. Bus Eireann wishes to establish a framework agreement with a number of economic operators for complete seat belt installations comprising the anchorage design and installation of seatbelts for school buses and scheduled bus services (large buses and mini buses) over a 4 year period. The seatbelt provided should be of EU Standard or equivalent. Service providers should take into consideration that seats may need to be modified or scrapped in order for the seatbelt to be correctly fitted. The estimated overall total number of buses to be catered for by the framework will be in the region of 2 000 although no guarantee as to the precise number can be given at this stage. The initial contract comprising a proportion of the total number, will be awarded at the earliest opportunity. The initial contract may be shared out between two or more framework members if appropriate.
