Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Tender for the provision of refuse service to low income households in Limerick City. Limerick City Council is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified applicants for the provision of a domestic refuse collection service for approximately 4 000 low income households in the City. Qualifying households currently receive a 'waiver' based on their household circumstances i.e. pensioner/unwaged/low waged. The householder can then use the waiver to avail of a number of 'free' lifts and weights per annum. At present the waiver holder receives 'free' lifts either fortnightly or every 3 weeks depending on their circumstances.
