Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Supply of a Waste Management Service in Several FÁS Locations. FÁS, the Training and Employment Authority was established in January 1988 under the Labour Services Act 1987. Its functions include the operation of training and employment programmes, the provision of an employment/recruitment service and an advisory and support service for business. FÁS has a staff complement of almost 2 400 people and a network of offices and training centres throughout the country. It is the intention of FÁS, on completion of a tender process, to appoint waste management contractors to carry out waste management services to include: collection, transportation, processing, recycling and disposal of waste from its various locations throughout Ireland.
