Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Provision of Aerial Trail Adventure Systems on Coillte Properties. Coillte is the major provider of outdoor recreation in Ireland. The company manages over 440,000 ha of forest land with over 150 recreation areas and 11 forest parks. Coillte is interested in improving recreation facilities on its estate and, in this context, is now issuing a Request for Expressions of Interest from suitable commercial operators for the design, build and operation of Aerial Trail Adventure Systems on Coillte properties at a number of locations. It is our intention to set up a panel of suitable operators. The proposed sites as venues for such activities will be located at, but not restricted to: — Loughkey, Co Roscomon, — Tibraddan, Dublin Mountains, — Ravensdale, Co Louth, — Curragh Chase, Co Limerick. We will also consider other suitable Coillte sites proposed by candidates. Further information will be available at tender stage.
