Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Eurofound is seeking to contract a single supplier for the coordination and provision of simultaneous interpreting services, with the occasional requirement for consecutive and/or whispering interpretation. Almost all meetings and events require interpretation from either French or German, into English and vice versa. Occasionally, interpretation may be requested for other language regimes. Quantity or scope of the contract II.2.1) Total quantity or scope: The contractor will provide for interpretation services, mainly simultaneous, occasionally consecutive and/or whispering for meetings and events over a period of 48 months. Eurofound has a purpose-built conference centre 'Raymond Pierre Bodin Conference Centre' with 9 interpretation booths. The interpretation booths are fixed and technical support will be provided by Eurofound. English, French, German simultaneously all ways. โ€” Autumn group meetings of Governing Board and board meetings: 15 October, 14:30โ€“18:00; 16 October, 11:00โ€“13:00 and 14:30โ€“18:00; 17 October, 9:00โ€“13:00 board meeting. Economic and financial capacity: Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if requirements are met: a) statement from the tenderer's bank indicating good financial viability of said company or proof of professional risk insurance covers; b) balance sheets or summaries thereof for at least the past 2 financial years for which accounts have been closed, where publication of balance sheets is prescribed under company law in the country in which the tenderer is established; c) statements of total turnover, and turnover relating to the provision of similar services, realised over a period which does not exceed the past 3 financial years. Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if requirements are met: a) interpreters are to be accredited to a recognised international standard, AIIC, Calliope or equivalent or at least 70 % of the interpreters delivering the required services must be a member of the AIIC or equivalent, proof of membership required; b) for the most frequently required languages (i.e. English, French, German, Italian and Spanish) interpreters delivering the required services must have at least 5 years' experience in the subject matter of research and EU affairs; c) ability to deliver a team of interpreters and for the dates specified where applicable; d) list of principal services provided in the past 3 years including the reference dates and recipients (public or private) of the services.
