Project Title: Renovation Works and provision of new external lifts to No. 15 Stephen's Green, Dublin 2 Approximate Size and General Description of the Works: Size of Site: c.282m2 Internal Floor Area of Building: c.687m2 No. 15 Stephen's Green (A PROTECTED STRUCTURE) is to be extended with the alteration of a new partially glazed passenger lift to be situated in the rear courtyard and serve all floors (except the attic level) of the main structure. The existing external front stairs is to be reconfigured to include for the addition of a new platform lift which will connect the front basement yard to the public thoroughfare at street level. The entire building is to be re-wired and re-plumbed to facilitate new power, data, fire safety and heating installations. Existing bathrooms at basement level are to be combined to form a single accessible bathroom. Conservation works shall include (but not be limited to) protection of historic floors and ceilings, treatment of existing areas affected by rot, flashing and pointing at roof level, careful removal and relaying of existing timber floor boards, patching and repairs to internal lime based decorated surfaces, provision of new fire doors to replicate historic joinery. Provision of fire protection measures to include floor insulation and fire resistant ceilings. Sundry internal alterations including partial demolition of existing elements.
