Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Managed Student Imaging Service. DIT require the implementation of a robust and efficient low cost managed self-service student pay for networked copying and printing solution throughout the Institute where student copying/printing is provided e.g. in DIT Student Laboratories (Labs), DIT Libraries and in other common areas across DIT such as informal learning spaces. The solution should be equivalent or better to that already installed in all DIT libraries and some labs in Bolton St. This will include printing from Networked PC’s, Apple Mac’s and WIFI devices e.g. Student Laptops and Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) devices. Should DIT wish to increase the number of devices capable of producing monochrome, colour or transparancies output in A3, A4 or other sizes during the period of the contract this must be provided for.
