Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Construction, delivery, and installation of Modular Operating Theatres (Fit-Out) Solution. St. Vincent's University Hospital (SVUH) seek expressions of interest with the purpose of putting together a shortlist of specialist contractors to supply and install four fully fitted out industrially prefabricated modular operating theatre package systems. The modular structure will be planned within the floor layout of a newly constructed shelled out building and will include fully finished walls, floors, and ceilings and will interface with the other building trades. The wall system will be constructed as a modular supporting steel structure framework with vertical supports and ceiling tracks and with the a section consisting of one lower and one upper wall element. This structure must accommodate the installation of medical gasses, air conditioning (including primary plant) and electrical equipment, which will be included in the theatre package. Simple detachment and remounting of individual wall panels to allow rapid access to installation areas must be provided. Room lighting, power, data, operating theatre lights, theatre control panels, air conditioning vents, including all medical gasses, and medical pendants, surgical and anaesthetic, are to be provided and integrated into ceiling and wall panels.
