Operating theatres fitout - UCV, pendants, lights, screens & cameras. The Specialist will be responsible for the design, supply installation, testing and validation of: 4 No. Ultra Clean Ventilation Systems installed in 4 No acute Operating Theatres (Cardiac, Orthopaedic and Transplant). There are 8 No General Operating Theatres that will not have UCV systems installed. Ceiling-mounted articulated retractable Pendants, Lighting, Screens and Cameras for 12 No. Operating Theatres. Operating Theatres will be constructed in Phase 1 commencing April 2011, and 2 No. Operating Theaters constructed in Phase 2 commencing 2014. All five of the acute Operating Theatres will be completed in Phase 1 i.e construction for these will commence in April 2011. The Contracting Authority propose to subcontract the successful works contractor to the existing Main Works Contractor John Sisk and Sons Ltd.
