The works comprise of the extension and refurbishment of the existing ground floor emergency department; a new obstetrics unit at 1st floor level and neo natal suite at 2nd floor level. The work includes all enabling works; comprehensive services diversions and connections to other areas of the hospital; site works and some demolition works. The overall floor area will be approximately 3,166m2and includes 675m2of refurbishment works; due to the complexity of the works the project shall be carried out over 10 phases.
