Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Tender for the provision of an International Office for the recruitment of Non EU students. LIT wishes to invite tenderers to assist in the establishment of an international office for the recruitment of non-EU students at LIT. As well as the recruitment of international students (Non EU) the International Office will be responsible for establishing collaborations with international institutions that will involve staff exchange, research partnerships, and student exchanges. LIT is an attractive destination for international students as in the European Student Barometer report (an online student survey which is conducted independently by the research institute, trendence) in the “evaluation of university/college performance” section, LIT students ranked the college above the national and European ratings for practical course content, lecturer/tutor availability and helpfulness, course content and structure, teaching quality, accommodation availability, assistance with career planning, and inexpensive location. The contract duration is for 1 year initially. LIT reserve the right to extend the contract for a further 12-24 months. The appointment will be by a process of open competitive procedure. LIT, prior to any award of a contract, shall agree with the successful tenderer any special conditions of the contract i.e. invoicing and delivery requirements, service requirements, settlement discounts, payment terms, etc. Please find attached information relating to the tender.
