Title attributed to the contract by the contracting entity: Transportation of Letter Mail. An Post invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified firms for consideration for the tender lists for the provision of transportation of letter mail for An Post from Ireland to international destinations – Priority and Non Priority. Destinations are grouped as follows: Lot 1 – Priority to Britain; Lot 2 – Priority to European Union; Lot 3 – Priority to Rest of Europe; Lot 4 – Priority to North & Central America and South America; Lot 5 – Priority to Rest of the World; Lot 6 – Non Priority to Britain; Lot 7 – Non Priority to European Union; Lot 8 – Non Priority to Rest of Europe; Suppliers may apply to be considered for one or more lots but must be prepared to tender for complete lots, if invited. Priority letter mail - a) arrival on the day of despatch before a specified critical entry time in the country of destination and b) carried on the day of despatch where transport time does not permit arrival in country of destination on the same day. Non Priority letter mail. Not subject to critical entry times. In order to be considered, applicants must complete the qualification questionnaire available to download from www.etenders.gov.ie. In the case of each lot, An Post will establish a multi-party framework agreement. It is anticipated that approximately 3 parties will be admitted to each lot, however the exact number may vary between the individual lots.
