Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Tender for Patient Hoist Systems (Fixed) Ceiling Track/Wall Mounted Hoists. Tender for Ceiling Track/Wall Mounted Hoists. Community Nursing Units are proposed for a number of sites across the country. These units will provide public high quality long-stay, therapeutic, rehabilitative and medical care for older people within a home-like environment. The initiative is part of a 112 000 000 EUR investment by the HSE to enable patients' transfer to more appropriate care facilities when they no longer need acute hospital care or when it is no longer possible to maintain the older person in their own home as a result of changing care requirements. The Community Nursing Units will provide additional beds and therefore will enhance existing public extended care facilities, which is critical to the progression of service delivery.Ceiling Track/Wall Mounted Hoistsmay also be purchased for other Care of the Elderly and similar Health Care settings.
