Edenderry Power has a requirement for haulage from various locations to Edenderry Power Ltd, Ballykilleen, Edenderry Co. Offaly. The material to be hauled would be in a pellet or granular form. The preferred haulage method is via bulk tippers with operational grain chutes and socks as there will be a requirement to tip directly into a reception hopper on site at the power plant. Owing to the density of the product, trailers should be capable of carrying a minimum of 27 tonne payload within legal weight limits. The requirement would be 5-10 loads per day to be delivered when the power plant is in operation, there will be a requirement for deliveries on weekend and bank holidays, Mandatory requirement to have up to date haulage licenses, insurances and meeting all relevant road traffic legislation. Vehicles that are compliant with latest emissions regulations e.g. Euro 6 are preferred. We anticipate inviting 5 qualifying companies to tender for this opportunity. The contract will be for 2 years with the option to extend up to 8 years.
