The Oireachtas Library & Research Service (L&RS) wishes to implement a consolidated press and media monitoring service (CPMS) covering provincial, national and international media and information sources. The L&RS requires the engagement of a service provider to deliver the services in respect of print, broadcast and selected Internet media. The key objectives of this service are: — To provide the L&RS and those units whom it supports with a timely and relevant electronic press clippings service covering a wide range of sources on predefined topics, — To provide an on demand transcription service for articles and reports in print or audio versions as required, — To provide an interactive service which allows end users to create searches on topics when required.
