FÁS, the Training and Employment Authority was established in January 1988 under the Labour Services Act 1987. Its functions include the operation of training and employment programmes, the provision of an employment/recruitment service and an advisory and support service for business. FÁS is tendering for electricity supplied to 20 centres and over 60 employment services offices, spread nationally. Suppliers shall provide documentary proof as part of their Expression of Interest submissions that they are Electricity Suppliers authorised and licensed by the Commission for Energy Regulation (C.E.R.).
