Variable speed drives & associated works to NAC. The National Aquatic Centre intends to install variable speed drives (VSDs) on several pumps and fan motors serving swimming pools and air handling plant in order to allow speed control of said devices. This is a turnkey project under which the successful tenderer shall provide a complete service including supply, installation and commissioning of the VSDs and all associated equipment. The items required include (but are not limited to). — Provision of Variable Speed Drives to existing fans and pumps on site, — Associated air & water flow measurement devices, — New power supplies from local distribution boards and all containment to serve new speed controllers, — All communication cables necessary for full integration with existing BMS, — Provision of additional functionality on existing BMS user interface, — Testing & commissioning of systems, — As-built drawings, — O&M Manuals, — Training. The successful tender shall have the capacity to provide on-site installation and commissioning services, from full project management to installation support. Site studies to verify the most efficient installation method should form part of any tender proposal. All Tenders submitted shall be complete and include for all work incidental or otherwise necessary to leave the complete installation in a satisfactory operational order, and complying with the relevant commissioning codes as published by the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE). All drawings, together with the Specification, shall be returned to the NSCDA offices at the time of tendering.
