The Earl Building was designed as a commercial office building and is currently completed to a CAT A landlord fit-out standard over 7 floors (basement to 5th floor inclusive). It is part of a wider development known as the Clerys' Quarter located in Dublin 1. The nett fit-out internal floor area is approximately 2,620m2. Various departments from Rotunda Hospital such as maternity outpatient department, paediatric outpatient department, colposcopy, medical social work, perinatal mental health will be decanted to the Earl Building in order to clear space on the existing main hospital campus to allow for a future Critical Care Wing development.
