Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Kilsellagh Water Treatment Works Design/Build/Operate Contract. Sligo County Council, the "Employer" for the Project, seeks suitable D/B/O contractors with experience and expertise in the design, construction and operation of Water Treatment Works, Water Storage Facilities and Pipeline Networks. The contract includes for the design, build, operation and maintenance of a water treatment works, service reservoir and ancillary facilities at Kilsellagh Td. some 5 km north east of Sligo City. The works shall be capable of producing 400 m3/h and will, typically, produce 7 000 m3/d. The contractor shall also treat and dispose of any wastes arising from the treatment process. The scope of work also includes the operation, maintenance and management of Kilsellagh Reservoir which is the raw water source.
