The HSE wishes to procure a software package to support dispatch prioritisation for HSE Ambulance Service. The system will allow the call taker to use a computer package to follow a defined line of questioning where the route taken is driven by the responses to the call maker. It allows the call taker to evaluate the medical necessity of the patient and to identify the appropriate course of action required. The system must be simple yet robust enough for use within the Irish Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Environment. The system provider must be able to provide introductory and ongoing training to users. Evidence of three reference sites must be provided.
