Bord Gáis invites expressions of interest in tendering for Maintenance / Support and Application Development for their Gas Network Information Management System (GIS) which has been in operation for over the past 8 years. The GIS is the central repository of network and asset information in BG Networks and is an integral component in the operational infrastructure of the organisation. The GIS supports some 160 No. users in Dublin, Cork and Antrim with an additional 150 No. using field information systems and a further 50 plus users having web access via the BGE GIS Intranet. The GIS integrates with other business critical systems in BG Networks. The duration of the contract will be for a minimum of period of 3 years. The GIS Consists of a number of software components including a significant number of bespoke application for Gas, Telcos and Wind Farms.
