Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital seeks applications from suitably experienced building, mechanical, electrical and lift contractors who wish to be included on a panel from which tenders will be invited for the construction of 4 new operating theatres, 16 bed recovery area, plaster bay, storage, offices, changing facilities, toilets and rest areas. The project also includes the redevelopment of an existing multi-purpose hall to form a new CSSD. This is a contract with phased works and minor enabling works. The construction will take place in a working hospital - adjacent to existing theatres and CSSD on a confined site. The new build element of the project has a floor area of approximately 2200 m2, the redevelopment element amounts to approximately 530 m2. The scope of this contract may also include ,as yet, undefined works to buildings adjacent to the site. Further information relating to this notice may be available on the e-tenders web site.
