Runway overlay. The project comprises construction of overlay on runway 10/28 at Dublin International Airport. The overlay is intented to comprise of a thin porous friction course (TPFC). TPFC is constructed with special integrated asphalt pavers where the tack-coat is applied just before the asphalt material is placed (similar to the French developed Novachip).
