Title attributed to the contract by the contracting entity: Terminal 1 Extension. Extension to existing Terminal Building at Dublin Airport. This contract is for the design, management and construction of an extension to the existing terminal building at Dublin Airport and the associated infrastructural works. Elements of the work may inculde the development of the clients feasability scheme within agreed cost, time and quality levels, procurement of works packages to achieve an agreed contract sum and the construction of the extension and associated works. It is intended that the work will procured via a single main contractor using either his own in-house design services or by him appointing his own consultants. The main contractor will subsequently be responsible for all sub-contracting/procurement of the appropriate elements of the works from the specialist contractors, his direct sub-contractors/vendors, with the exception of specalist airport systems which will be procured directly by the client.
