Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Contract for the Support and Maintenance of Linux and Unix Server Operating Systems. The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment invites tenders for the provision of support and maintenance for a number of servers running Red Hat Advanced Server Linux (2.1 and 3) and Tru64 Unix (v.4 and v.5) for the period 1 September, 2006 initially for a period of one year, to 31 August, 2007, and at the sole discretion of the Department the contract may be extended for a period of three further years. The successful tenderer will be responsible, in accordance with the terms of a Service Level Agreement to be agreed with the said tenderer, for providing telephone, remote and on-site support for the specified server operating systems in the Department.
