Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Upgrade /replacement of SAN disk system SAN Backup system and DR. The Department would like to accomplish four things: 1. increase their storage by adding a capability to store a minimum 100TB of data over the next five years in our GSI site; 2. Backup environment within the GSI site with a minimum of 250TB capability. Also a Backup mechanism that does not effect the Departments day to day running of Live Environment (Mon/Friday 8:00 to 7:00); 3. have a Disaster Recovery infrastructure for all the Departments systems for existing and new data 330TB A site in DCMNR offices in Leeson Lane will be used; 4. consider reuse, buyback and replacement of existing equipment.
