Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Supply of Pilot Scale Disk Stack Centrifuge. The contrat comprises the supply and delivery of one (1) floor mounted pilot scale disc stack centrifuge. (the "Goods"). At a minimum, the Goods shall comprise the following: (a) The pilot scale centrifuge shall include all necessary instrumentation, valves and safety devices (b) The pilot scale centrifuge shall include a stand-alone control system, and all associated wiring. (c) The pilot scale centrifuge shall have 316L stainless steel product contact parts. (d) The pilot scale centrifuge shall be capable of an inlet flow of at least 100 litres/ hour of cell culture broth (e) The pilot scale centrifuge skid shall contain an integral cooling system. (f) The pilot scale centrifuge shall have all necessary interconnecting pipework. (g) The pilot scale centrifuge & control system are to be designed to facilitate fully automatic operation, including automated Clean-in-Place (CIP). (h) The design pressure of the pilot scale centrifuge piping systems shall range from Atmospheric (0 barg) to a minimum of +3 barg (i) The design temperature of the pilot scale centrifuge shall range from 0oC to +100oC (j) The pilot scale centrifuge process piping must be insulated as much as is practical.
