Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Gamma Irradiation Unit for Calibration Service. The RPII invites tenders from manufacturers of stable beam track gamma irradiation units to supply, install and commission a new unit in the RPII's Instrument Calibration laboratory together with the delivery of appropriate training to RPII staff. The new irradiation unit will be housed in an existing purpose built irradiation room of dimensions 9,2 m x 4,7 m. It will be used for calibrating ionising radiation dose rate meters and personal monitors/alarms.
