Works contract for construction maternity theatre suite. This will be a restricted fixed price GCC contract (with quantities). Documentation in relation to this notice is attached and must be received in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Project Office, National Maternity Hospital, by 12 noon on 5.11.2010. Shortlisted candidates will be informed on 10.11.2010, the deadline for receipt of tenders is 12 noon on 21.12.2010. The works include the alteration, extension and associated services and site works to National Maternity Hospital, Holles Street, Dublin 2 to provide a maternity theatre suite. The project will consist of constructing a new operating theatre and associated facilities within the existing hospital at Holles St. The new build GIFA for the proposed construction is 165 m² and is located at the 3rd floor level on a stand alone structural steel frame. The works also include the refurbishment of 55 m² of existing areas on level 3. The works are to be undertaken on a phased basis.
