Framework for conservation surveys and services and design and administration of conservation works. The GDA wishes to create a Multi-Provider Framework for Conservation Surveys and Services and the design and administration of conservation works at Grangegorman for a 4 year term. Three (3) Consultants will be appointed to the Framework, insofar as there is a sufficient number of Applicants who satisfy the selection criteria and/or of admissible Applications which meet the award criteria. In broad terms, the Framework will cover the GDA's requirements for consultancy services in respect of the surveying, design, procurement and administration of works related to, or in respect of, historic and/or protected structures, buildings, boundary walls, tunnels etc located on or connected to the Grangegorman site. The outcome of these works will principally be to limit damage, repair and protect the structures, buildings, walls, tunnels etc from further deterioration (although consultancy services may also be required in respect of development works which may impact upon, involve or affect any such historic and/or protected structures, buildings, walls, tunnels etc). In addition, the Framework will also cover advice on non-protected buildings scheduled for demolition and assistance in the identification of salvageable materials and artefacts within these structures. The consultant will, in particular, be required to provide conservation architecture, quantity surveying, structural engineering, PSDP and Employer's Representative consultancy services.
