The site will incorporate significant retail, commercial and residential development on a site adjoining Irelandโs busiest intercity station. Following the initial competitive tendering process under the restricted procedure the contract will involve one and possibly two stages, i.e. stage one - the completion of a masterplanning process for approval by the contracting authority; stage two - but subject to Board approval by the contracting authority of the masterplan, the submission and achievement of full planning permission under the contract. The multi-disciplinary teams will comprise the following: architects, planning experts, civil and structural engineers, cost consultants/quantity surveyors, transport consultants, environmental-related consultants, archaeologists and property consultants. For the initial contract(s) a single integrated team comprising the aforementioned disciplines will be appointed by the contracting authority as a single lot. It is anticipated that the masterplanning process will be completed within 4 months of contract award. In order to be considered for the tender list candidates must have a proven track record in master planning and in the realisation of major development of inner city brown field comprehensive schemes.
