The objective of this competition is to invite proposals from suitably qualified providers for the design and delivery of training courses, under the categories laid out below, to University staff. We require a third party to design and fully deliver training to approximately 1,250 staff members across the University. The courses will be tailored to meet the staff it is targeted at e.g. Academics, Researchers, Administrative, Professional, Support and Technical staff. Learning and development covers a number of broad areas relating to the goals of the University’s strategic plan and in line with individual and departmental requirements and includes professional and personal development. Training is available to staff over the 12 calendar months, with a smaller number of courses running between June and August. Courses run Monday to Friday, during work hours. A typical one day course runs from 09:30 to 16:30. A typical half day course runs from 09:30 to 13:00. In-person training typically takes place on campus. Online training takes place over MS Teams. It is planned to have 14 -18 participants at each in-person half-day and full day course. Higher numbers will be permitted on shorter seminars (1 – 2 hours duration), however this is subject to change.
