Estates MW Radiology and MRI expansion project at University Hospital Limerick

The development consists of: a 701m2 single-storey extension to the Radiology Department overhead at Level 2; the creation of a 730m2 interstitial plantroom floor between the existing and the extension at Level1; a 36m2 new bridge link at Level 2 connecting the extension to the existing building; an 112m2 extensionto the existing MRI building at ground level (level 0); and a stair core connecting the existing Radiology withthe extension along with supporting services, associated site works and associated ancillary works. The works will include modifications to internal layouts and fitout at 162.1m2. Green Public Procurement and Embodied Carbon Reduction government guidance and best practice will befollowed in procuring the main construction contract.
