Description of the procurement:
Wexford County Council are committed to Ireland's target of a 51percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2050. This tender forms part of the programme and seeks to deliver sustainable upgrades to public sector buildings under the ownership of Wexford County Council. Retrofit projects across Wexford have Estimated works values ranging from 50,000 euro to 2,100,000 euro representing a mix of medium to large scale retrofitting works. ---- Energy Retrofit design project management and Integrated design teams will be appointed from this framework to complete the design and oversee successful delivery of the works, in compliance with the pathfinder programme objectives. ---- The key requirements from the successful applicant may include but are not limited to the folowing - -1. Feasibility Study and Decarbonisation Options -2. Preliminary Design Development -3. Risk Identification and Management -4. Detailed Design Development -5. Project Supervision (PSDP) -6. Tender Documentation Preparation -7. Fire Safety and Compliance -8. Works Monitoring -9. Health and Safety Planning -10. Safety File Preparation -11. Compliance with Building Regulations -12. Stakeholder Liaison and Reporting ---- The appointment team will collaborate with Wexford County Council and stakeholders to deliver projects that meet technical, regulatory, and sustainability standards. These efforts will demonstrate leadership in sustainable design and support Ireland's Climate Action Plan objectives while insuring value for money and effective risk management. ---- The initial project is to complete energy retrofit works on The Apex Leisure Centre, New Ross. Specific details on the initial project will be provided at stage two of the Restricted Procedure. ---- Drawdown options - -1. Consultancy services less than 50k by cascade. -2. Consultancy services greater than 50k is by mini competition. ---- It is anticipated that the framework will be established with five appointed firms, who will be eligible to provide services under the framework agreement.
