This includes caring for the dogs, looking after their welfare and veterinary needs, providing proper veterinary care (registered vet) micro-chipping, vaccinating and euthanizing dogs (only where necessary RTAs, very sick dogs sheep kills and dogs involved in attacking people etc.). Proper feed and nutrition for dogs on a daily basis, cleaning and disinfecting the Pound kennels. Exercising the dogs. Dealing with the public in terms of reclaiming dogs, re-homing dogs and liaising with Wexford County Council Dog Wardens and Council Staff.
