9436 Replacement 38kV Transaction Transformer
Iarnrod Eireann-Irish Rail
Irish Rail are seeking to replace a transformer at our Dalkey Substation with an equivalent transformer that must have a design life of 30 years as a minimum. The proposed Transaction Transformer must meet the following requirements as a minimum. โข The Transaction Transformer must run in parallel with the Transaction Transformer that is currently in situ as per technical specification โข The transformer shall comply with the design, construction, testing and other requirements to the European standard EN 60076 or, IEC 60076 and IEC 60146. Class 6 โข An earthed metal screen between high-voltage and low-voltage winding must be offered.
