Proposals from Tenderers are being sought to provide a comprehensive cleaning service to the facilities at SS Peter & Paul Cathedral & Ennis Parish Centre (including Maria Assumpta Hall), Ennis, Co. Clare. It is intended to award a contract to a single service provider. Ennis Parish requires the provision of a professional cleaning service to the Cathedral & Parish Centre at a competitive price. The Tenderers will be required to furnish all cleaning supplies; operational equipment and all labour and supervision. The Tenderers will also be required to stock & replenish all products (toilet rolls, hand towels, soap etc). A price list and separate invoice must be provided for all toilet products purchased for this contract. A high quality, flexible and responsive service is required combined with continuous improvement and innovation for a year round service. A working supervisor/team leader is required to be available with responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the cleaning personnel and the closing of the buildings, if required. Cleaning of the Cathedral can be carried out from 08.00am to 11.00am and from 1m to 4pm (subject to no other service taking place in the Cathedral (i.e. Funeral, Wedding, Baptism etc.) each day Monday, Wednesday & Friday. Where a bank holiday falls on any of these days, the cleaning can take place on the week day immediately after the bank holiday. However, there may be occasions when the cleaning team might be required to carry out additional cleaning when the Parish hosts other ceremonies e.g. Christmas & Easter times. Such ceremonies will be notified by the Parish well in advance, highlighting the requirements. Cleaning of the Parish Centre & Maria Assumpta Hall can be carried out before 09.00am and after 5pm each day Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.
