Framework for Fully integrated Design Team Services for the Provision of Social and Affordable Residential Developments and Public Realm Schemes in Galway County and City Administrative Areas
Galway City and County Councils are seeking to appoint capable Architectural Service providers to establish an Architectural Framework for four (4nr) years to deliver: New Build Housing via Building Works Designed by the Contractor (Design and Build) New Build Housing via Building Works Designed by the Employer (Traditional Service) Urban and Rural Regeneration Schemes This framework is primarily for the Accelerated Delivery of Housing (ADH) intending to promote the adoption of modern methods of construction where practicable. Traditional methods of construction will also be facilitated. Participants to this framework are, Galway City Council and Galway County Council. The funding mechanisms for these projects are the Housing for All Fund, Town Centre First Funding, ERDF/URDF and any subsequent funding or new policy initiatives to be announced by Government in the future for the life of the framework. The framework aims to promote the adoption of modern methods of construction (MMC) across both Traditional and Design and Build procurement.
