Department of the Environment Climate and Communications

To support Irelandโ€™s transition to a Circular Economy, the Department requires a range of specialist services. For this purpose, the Department is establishing a Circular Economy Support Services Framework to complement existing expertise within the Department. Framework Members will collaborate with the Departmentโ€™s Circular Economy and Environment Protection Divisions, to provide a range of professional advisory services. The specific work streams covered by the Framework will include: โ€ข Circular economy โ€ข Food waste โ€ข Packaging โ€ข Plastics incl. single use plastics โ€ข Fishing gear โ€ข Textiles โ€ข Extended producer responsibility โ€ข Green public procurement โ€ข By products โ€ข End of waste โ€ข Construction and demolition waste โ€ข Municipal (household and commercial) waste โ€ข Waste management infrastructure โ€ข Litter โ€ข Waste enforcement Tenderers should be familiar with the regulatory regimes and policy frameworks in place at EU and national levels in respect of the above work streams. The Framework will be structured into three separate Lots: 1. Technical services 2. Economic and financial services 3. Legal services
