RTÉ invites qualified contractors to participate in the comprehensive upgrade of RTÉ Television’s Studio 2 in Montrose, Dublin 4 to High Definition (HD) and Internet Protocol (IP) technology. This project aims to modernise our studio capabilities, with an emphasis on enhanced interconnectivity, enabling the Studio 2 gallery to control and facilitate interconnectivity with the production floors of Studio 3, 4, 5, and Stage B following the upgrade to IP. RTÉ plans to establish framework agreement(s) with the selected bidder(s) to set fixed pricing for upgrading up to four additional studios over the next five years.
