Consultancy Services -The proposed services may involve but not be limited to: • Provision of integrated design and support services ensuring the optimisation of material flows throughout the factory considering space requirements, sequencing of each core activity, the safety of the workforce, environmental considerations, and the final product. • Develop a Block Plan or Schematic of the layout ensuring the provision of optimum space for all our process in the production of our sleepers to be modeled on the principles of Lean Manufacturing • Advice on planning and any other statutory processes, including Building Controls layout and Safety Approvals, and implementation of same. • Provision of best practice energy efficient sustainable design layout. • Preparation of strategy and scoping documents for surveys, inspections and investigations as required. • Undertaking environmental impact assessments and/or appropriate assessments and other environmental studies and advice as required. • Preparation of cost estimates and project timeline planning. • Preparation of robust and well-defined tender documents. • Tender evaluation and preparation of tender reports. • Support the progression of actions required to ensure the timely appointment of a suitable supplier. The form of Contract will be issued with the Invitation to Tender (ITT) at the ITT stage of this procurement process, to all Applicants who pre-qualify for the ITT stage of the process, under this PQQ, subject to IE’s decision (in its sole discretion) to proceed to the ITT stage of the competition.
