A framework agreement constitutes a means of establishing overall terms and conditions in accordance with which, for a specified duration, individual contracts may or not be awarded. It does not constitute a guarantee to purchase a specific quantity of supplies or services.

The initial contract is to undertake the servicing of 5No Tipperary County Council Civic Amenity Sites. The sites are in located in Nenagh, Cashel, Roscrea, Clonmel and Donohill. This contract will include
1. The collection of waste streams from recycling centres throughout Tipperary County Council. The recycling centres and waste streams include, but are not restricted to: Bulky Household; Cardboard; DIY Waste (Inc C &D waste); Food Waste; Garden Waste; Dry Recyclables; Mixed Municipal Waste; Plate Glass; Timber; Metal; Newspaper; Magazines/Phonebooks etc.; Plastic Bottles / Soft Plastics; Hard Plastics; Gypsum; Tyres; etc.
1. The collection of waste streams from recycling centres throughout Tipperary County Council. 5. The type, size and ownership of receptacles in place at each location will be provided at stage two. Tipperary County Council own a number of receptacles at each location. The contractor will use these receptacles for the duration for the contract. At locations where the receptacles are not owned by the local authority the contractor shall be required to provide receptacles for the acceptance of materials
