The Department is seeking to provide a series of interlinked musician performances, with both on-line and live audience based events (subject to COVID restrictions) to broadcast free-of charge across a wide variety of media and social media, celebrating modern Irish popular music, music of Irish origin, and music with strong heritage links to Irish culture. The tender will support at least three separate multi-artist performance events, which may be held as distinct events or as a distinct part of a wider festival, and which are to be recorded and offered online thereafter. The contract will initially be awarded for a three-year period at a maximum available funding of €500,000 per annum. 70-80% of this funding must be provided to artists and creative workers.
