Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery, installation and calibration of an biobased fibres processing pilot line to facilitate the understanding and manufacture of composites materials. The biobased fibres processing pilot line will consist of a pilot scale melt spinning line, a lab scale wet spinning line, an oxidative heat treatment furnace, a high temperature and an inert atmosphere heat treatment furnace. This equipment will be placed in the School of Engineering of the University of Limerick and will be used by research staff and research students with the support of technical staff.
