Longford and Westmeath Education and Training Board (LWETB) wish to award a contract to a preferred supplier for the following services
1. Supply of network equipment on an “as needed” basis.
2. Supply and installation of network cabling upgrades on an “as needed” basis.
3. Managed service for the support and maintenance of existing fixed and wireless network infrastructure.
4. Network Engineering Services on a drawdown basis.
LWETB has a single domain, all admin offices, schools, and Athlone Training Centre are on this domain. Further Education sites are mostly “Cloud only “sites on Azure AD.
The entire network structure was built using HPE and Aruba network switches, Aruba wireless access points and FortiGate firewalls.
